Whenever Elaine Simpson and Leanne McDowell walked into Reflex Studios – they were looking to sell the latest in high street fashion. They first needed a brand that was trendy, glamorous and eye grabbing. They decided to call themselves Pretty Dolly.
In order to attract new and returning customers, Pretty Dolly run promotions on their website. Their CMS gives them the ability to add promo codes and special offers such as ‘Free Shipping’, ‘20% Off’ and ‘£1 off for a Facebook Like’. They also offer Gift Cards, allow customers to purchase Pretty Dolly Gift Cards to give out as Birthday or Christmas Gifts.
Pretty Dolly’s website can update Stock Levels at the point of sale. Alerting them via email whenever they become low on stock for an item. Once the item as run out of stock, the website automatically marks the item as being ‘sold out’. This prevents the customer placing orders for items that are out of stock.
As a way to promote the products, Pretty Dolly gave their customers the chance to share photos of them wearing their new outfits. They could share their photos on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #prettydolly. Pretty Dolly would then feature the photo on their website, with links back to the products.
